And there was nothing to worry about in the water in New Orleans after Katrina nor anything in the air around Ground Zero in New York after 9/11. If we repeat these things often enough, we'll believe them, and relax.

In the meantime, some of the biggest lies being told concern the health of the U.S. economy, in particular the banking system, which is sick, sick, sick. I wonder who believes all the BS being spewed about that.

I think that there's alot of people who believe it. No one I know personally, but I suspect that "the faithful" do. I haven't checked out Kudlow in a while, but I suspect he's on board too.

Well, given that good news is generally more welcome than bad news, happy talk spinmeisters like Krudlow have a sizable advantage with their catalogue of bull shit about the state of our financial system-desperate -and our economy-not as desperate-but soon to be.
